Necsa Learning Academy is excited to offer unemployed youth the chance to kickstart their careers through our prestigious Apprenticeship Programme. We are currently seeking candidates for Occupational Certificates/Trades in the following areas:
• Boilermaker
• Electrician
• Fitter & Turner
• Welder
• Instrumentation
• Mechanical Fitter
• Toolmaker
• Millwright
• Metal Machinist
As a nationally recognised and accredited skills development provider, Necsa Learning Academy (NLA) is committed to enhancing technical and professional skills to empower the next generation of tradespeople.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following educational criteria:
• NQF Level 4: Grade 12 with Maths and Science; or
• N2-6: Must include 4 subjects with relevant trade theory; or
• Technical Matric: With Maths, Science, and the appropriate trade theory; or
• NCV Level 3/4 Engineering Certificate: With 7 subjects, including relevant trade theory.
Additionally, all applicants should:
• Demonstrate technical knowledge.
• Be effective team players.
Please note: Appointments will be made only after completing screening processes such as medical evaluations, security clearance, qualification verifications, and technical assessments. All shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview

Application Guidelines
When applying, ensure your submission includes the following:
• A complete application form clearly stating the trade reference number you are applying for.
• A current CV accompanied by a certified copy of your identity document, academic certificates, and proof of residence.
Apprenticeship Programme
The successful candidates will be appointed under section 18.2 for a three-year period. Applicants must:
• Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
• Be a South African citizen.
• Reside in one of the following provinces: Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, or North West.
• Have not participated in or been previously funded by an NSF apprenticeship programme (previous candidates from the 2024 cycle may apply again).

• Accommodation: Provided during training.
• Stipend: A monthly stipend will be paid throughout the duration of the contract.
