What Does the Role Involve?


As a Product Support Agent, your core responsibility is to deliver outstanding support for Tracker-installed products, ensuring our clients enjoy a seamless experience with our vehicle tracking technology. You’ll be a key part of our support ecosystem, working with industry-leading tools and systems.
Key responsibilities include:


• Offering telephonic support to existing customers, helping them with operational and technical questions about their Tracker units.
• Handling after-installation product support across multiple platforms, including TomTom, Empower, Skygistics, and Skytrax.


• Liaising with a range of stakeholders such as internal departments, external clients, Tracker branches, consultants, and the fitment teams.
• Managing and maintaining up-to-date client and vehicle records in internal databases. Agent.


• Coordinating with the Cancellations Team when clients submit service termination requests.
• Performing general administrative functions, including pulling system reports, conducting technical investigations, resetting passwords, and roaming configurations.


• Logging service requests and following up on resolution status to ensure client satisfaction.
• Handling complaints and feedback through telephone and email channels, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.


• Supporting your team by complying with shift schedules as determined by the Telephony system.
• Assisting with any other duties as assigned by your Line Manager or Supervisor.

Minimum qualifications and experience:
• Matric / Grade 12 certification is required.
• At least one year of experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.


• Basic understanding of telematics, GSM technology, and satellite communication.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.


• A problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take full ownership of customer issues.
• Knowledge of systems such as Tracker TMS, CRM, CDS, Skytrax Web, and Skytrax Sales Support is highly advantageous.
