🧠 What Does a Specialist Clerk in MSS Do?

This key administrative role is situated in our Marketing, Sales & Service department – the nerve center that connects our dealers, customers, warehouses, and internal support units.
You will act as the first point of contact for Ford dealerships across South Africa, helping ensure smooth communication, rapid problem resolution, and top-tier service delivery.

🛠️ Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
• 📞 Customer Support: Serve as the go-to person for dealers contacting Ford regarding parts availability, pricing, order status, claims, or cancellations. You’ll communicate via the ticketing system, phone, and email.
• 🔁 Issue Resolution: Quickly respond to dealer and customer inquiries. Resolve concerns or escalate them to the appropriate departments for action – always ensuring follow-up and closure. Specialist Clerk.
• 💬 Clear Communication: Maintain a positive, professional tone even in high-pressure situations. Keep dealers updated with accurate, timely info and act as their liaison to internal teams.

• 🧩 Problem Solving: Identify issues proactively, offer effective solutions within the designated timeframes, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• 🧾 Administrative Accuracy: Assist with pricing deviations, verify part numbers, and ensure the right information gets to the right people at the right time. Specialist Clerk.
• 🤝 Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and aftersales teams to resolve bottlenecks and fulfil dealer needs swiftly.

📚 Minimum Requirements:

We’re looking for someone who has the right blend of education, experience, and emotional intelligence to thrive in a customer-driven role.
✔ Education:
• Matric / Grade 12 with strong passes in Mathematics and English
• National Diploma (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing, or a Business-related qualification
✔ Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience in a Customer Service, Automotive Aftersales, Logistics, or similar working environment

✔ Technical Competencies:
• Computer literacy: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of SAP, PANDA, and ODBC platforms (an advantage) Specialist Clerk.
