Your Mission


As a Sales Representative based in the Bloemfontein area, you will be the face of Heineken Beverages in Free State West. Your primary goal is to grow brand awareness, secure shelf space, and exceed sales targets by forging strong relationships with on-premise and off-premise customers. You’ll collaborate closely with the Sales Manager, the wider sales team, and marketing colleagues to deliver data-driven recommendations that help retailers reach their business objectives.


What You’ll Do


• Build & Nurture Relationships
Cultivate and maintain positive, trust-based partnerships with existing and new accounts—from bottle stores and supermarkets to bars and restaurants.
• Drive Sales Growth
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive prospecting, upselling, and strategic promotions. Sales Representative.


• Data-Led Recommendations
Leverage sales analytics and market insights to advise customers on the optimal product mix, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.
• Market Intelligence
Stay ahead of competitor activity, industry trends, and consumer preferences in the Free State West region to identify new business opportunities.


• Brand Activation
Plan and execute in-store activations, tastings, and special events that elevate brand visibility and encourage trial.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work hand-in-hand with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, stock availability, and promotional roll-out. Sales Representative.

What You Bring


• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven success in a sales role—ideally within FMCG or alcoholic beverages.
• Commercial Acumen
• Strong numerical literacy and business sense for forecasting, budgeting, and negotiating.
• Track record of hitting or surpassing revenue goals through strategic planning and tenacity.


• Personal Traits
• High energy, resilience, and a competitive spirit.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—confident engaging with decision makers at all levels.
• Adaptable, with the ability to flourish in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.


• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data-analysis tools such as Google Analytics or Power BI.
