About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated, energetic, and customer-focused individual to take on the role of Permanent Part-Time Retail Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow within the global Adidas brand while balancing flexibility with responsibility.
In this permanent part-time position, you’ll work closely with the store management team to ensure our Sandton location runs smoothly, provides world-class service to every customer, and upholds the trusted Adidas name in South Africa’s premium retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our team, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the store and help create a seamless and enjoyable experience for all shoppers. Your duties will include:
• Delivering the highest level of customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Processing sales transactions accurately using various payment methods, including cash, card, and digital options.
• Supporting stockroom activities such as receiving, unpacking, and restocking merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Ensuring that all visual merchandising and product displays meet the brand’s standards.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, fitting rooms, and stock areas.
• Assisting in the setup and execution of promotional events and in-store campaigns.
• Using your knowledge of Adidas products to confidently assist customers and provide styling or product recommendations.
• Greeting customers as they enter and ensuring they feel welcome and valued throughout their visit.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of experience as an assistant —just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a love for helping others. However, the following attributes will help you stand out:

Education & Experience Requirements
• A Matric certificate (Grade 12) is required.
• 0–1 years of experience in retail or customer service will be highly regarded but is not mandatory.
• Prior experience in fashion or sports retail is an advantage.
