What You’ll Be Doing

As Cellular Consultants, your core mission is to guide customers through the selection and purchase of cellular devices, prepaid/BYO plans, and value-added services. You’ll be empowered to:

• Consult & Advise
• Build rapport with walk-in and online customers, assess their mobile needs, and recommend suitable devices (smartphones, tablets, accessories).
• Explain contract features—data bundles, international roaming options, add-on services—to maximize customer satisfaction and lifetime value.

• Drive Contract Sales
• Achieve and exceed individual monthly contract targets by promoting postpaid and prepaid plans from leading network providers (Vodacom, MTN, Telkom).
• Process contract applications accurately through SAP, C3D, M2, MTN iLula, OMS, AVS, PayJoy, and Vumatel systems, ensuring compliance with Incredible Connection policies.

• Deliver Flawless Service
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism, adhering to our “customer-centric” service promise.
• Maintain meticulous records of transactions and customer interactions, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to risk management.

• Collaborate & Innovate
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices in upselling and cross-selling, contributing to a positive, target-driven store atmosphere.
• Participate in regular training sessions on new device launches, system updates, and sales techniques to continuously sharpen your expertise.

What We’re Looking For: Requirements

To succeed as a Cellular Consultant, you should bring:
• Education & Experience
• Matric certificate (Grade 12) minimum.
• 1–2 years in retail, preferably within the consumer electronics or telecommunications sector.

• Technical Know-How
• Solid understanding of cellular contract products, credit services, and risk-management processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP-based M.I.S. reporting.

• Interpersonal Excellence
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages, including Setswana, an advantage).
• Warm, patient, and solution-focused approach to customer service and teamwork.

• Professional Attributes
• Strong telephone etiquette and in-store presentation skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and ethical responsibility—reflecting the values of Incredible Connection.
• Target-driven mindset, with the ability to self-manage time and priorities in a fast-paced retail setting.
