As a cashier at our Pretoria site, you’ll be at the frontline of our financial processes, playing a key role in managing and reconciling daily cash flow, working closely with both internal teams and external security partners.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cashier, your role will be critical in ensuring daily banking operations are smooth, secure, and error-free. You’ll need to be precise, professional, and able to operate under time-sensitive conditions. Daily duties will include:
• Processing large volumes of cash with precision and care. Tiger Brands Careers.
• Issuing and reconciling receipts accurately, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
• Balancing and banking cash daily, ensuring accuracy in every transaction.

• Liaising with security teams, including Fidelity Guards and Coin Security, to ensure timely and safe cash collection.
• Communicating clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person, with internal and external stakeholders. Tiger Brands Careers.
• Maintaining records and documentation, ensuring financial integrity and audit readiness.
• Supporting the supply chain team with cash-related administrative tasks when needed.
• Working weekends, public holidays, and overtime, as required, to support high-volume trading days.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

✅ Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1/2–1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to count and reconcile cash accurately.

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to remain focused when managing repetitive tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from various backgrounds.
• A calm and composed demeanor under pressure.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
