What You’ll Do

• Efficient Deliveries & Collections
• Transport mail, parcels, and essential items between Tsebo offices and client sites across Johannesburg.
• Record every trip in a digital or paper logbook, ensuring full traceability.
• Liaise with reception teams and warehouse staff to confirm handovers.
• Vehicle Care & Compliance
• Perform daily pre-use inspections—checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and brakes.
• Keep your assigned vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
• Coordinate license renewals and manage the company petrol card in line with policy.

• Route Planning & Customer Service
• Map out the most fuel-efficient routes, leveraging real-time traffic updates and GPS tools.
• Greet clients and colleagues with a friendly, professional demeanour.
• Adapt to urgent requests—whether it’s a same-day parcel or an out-of-hours pickup.

• Health, Safety & Quality
• Follow our Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Management System at all times.
• Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to site-specific protocols.
• Report any incidents or near-misses promptly, contributing to our zero-harm culture.

Who You Are

• Experienced & Licensed: You hold a valid South African driver’s license (Code C1/C), with a PDP preferred.
• Reliable & Punctual: You arrive on time, every time, and take ownership of your schedule.
• Customer-Focused: You communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and always put the client first.

• Detail-Oriented: You’re alert to potential vehicle issues and proactive about maintenance.
• Adaptable & Self-Motivated: You work independently, embrace new challenges, and learn quickly.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• 1–2 years in a similar driving or courier role
