The Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Office Administrator(Reference Code: CMED062-2025 (E)) to join our Pretoria Central office. In this role, you will be the organizational backbone of our Strategic Events team, ensuring every logistical, financial, and administrative process runs without a hitch.
What You’ll Do
• Office Administration & Coordination
• Oversee daily office operations to maintain a smooth and efficient work environment.
• Manage meeting schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare professional presentations. Office Administrator.
• Logistical & Event Support
• Provide comprehensive logistical support for events, from venue bookings to coordination of suppliers and contractors.
• Track equipment rentals, transportation schedules, and on-site requirements to guarantee event success.
• Financial & Procurement Oversight
• Assist in budgeting processes, monitor expenditure, and process invoices to ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Administer procurement requests, ensuring compliance with municipal regulations and best practices. Office Administrator.
• Reporting & Compliance
• Compile, analyze, and submit various operational and financial reports in line with departmental guidelines.
• Maintain records, handle data entry, and ensure all documentation meets audit standards.
• Secretariat Services
• Offer ad hoc secretarial support to senior managers, including minute-taking, agenda setting, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance service delivery.
Who You Are
• Educational Background
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification is essential.
• Experience & Skills
• Minimum of one year of hands-on administrative support experience—preferably within events management or a similarly dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic understanding of financial management systems.
• A valid Code B driver’s license is advantageous.
• Personal Attributes
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all facets of work.

• Additional Requirements
• Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check, including fingerprinting by the Tshwane Metro Police Department (at own cost).
